Fire and Safety Warning

The Tinderbox Portable Bonfire is a great addition to any outdoor setting, but it must be used responsibly to avoid injury or damage. Here are some fire and safety precautions you should follow when using the Tinderbox Portable Bonfire:

  • Only use the product outside in a well-ventilated area.

  • Keep the product away from flammable materials, such as dry leaves, grass, or paper.

  • Do not use the product in windy or wet conditions.

  • Do not leave the product unattended while in use.

  • Always use a metal trivet, stone, brick and never put the product directly on any table or burnable surface. (That includes non-metal trivets)

  • Do not touch the product while it is lit as it will be extremely hot.

  • Keep children and pets away from the product while in use.

  • To extinguish the flames, do not use water. Instead, place the lid back over the product to starve the flames of oxygen.

  • Wait until the product has completely cooled before storing or transporting it.

  • Discontinue use when 1/2 inch wax remains or flames get bigger than 2 feet. (Bottom of tin will get extremely hot, use with caution)
